Open letter from Pastor Chris Stewart to all Christian Martial Artists:

"I have felt lead and believe that I have been called to gather Christian martial artists together to become leaders within our community.

Who better to lead the way and to raise the bar in loyalty, honor, respect, reputation, and credibility than believers?

If we are to effectively carry out our mission given by Jesus in Luke 19:10 : “to seek and to save that which was lost”, we then must “be about our fathers business”. I have been thinking, praying, and discussing this decision with fellow Christian Black Belts and students for the better part of 4 years and feel that it is high time that we as Christian martial artists lead the way.

How do we do this, you ask?

I would propose that we create special opportunities for Christian martial artists to gather and become united in the mission (Luke 19:10) and from that core group of believers a series of events would follow.

Events, such as tournaments, seminars, meet and greets, service projects, and other gatherings would show the secular community what we stand for… and I believe that many would be saved.

As we read in Corinthians 1 Cor 9:22 “I will become all things to all people so that I might win some”, I believe that those who are already Christian Black Belts have (as the passage states) ‘become’, now it is time to reach everyone so that we might win some.

As the Apostle Paul said “I will become all things…” so that the Gospel might go out powerfully. Please take your time to pray and consider partnership in ministry with the Christian Kenpo Fellowship."
